Nigel Spierts

Nigel Spierts is an experienced educator and coach with a strong background in science and engineering. Currently serving as a Secondary Science Teacher at Collingwood College since July 2022, Nigel also holds the position of Women's Volleyball Coach at Farnborough Volleyball Club since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer at PM Group, where responsibilities spanned from Pressure Relief Device Surveying to Construction Management and QA/QC, along with participation in the Future Energy Leaders initiative at the Institution of Chemical Engineers from January 2017 to May 2019. Additionally, Nigel has coached women's volleyball teams at Surrey Sports Park and played at the national level as a libero for Malory Eagles in the Super League. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Reading and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey.
