Jason Wellnitz

Jason Wellnitz is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as Associate Director of Program Management for Space Systems at Collins Aerospace since October 2020. In this role, Jason has significantly contributed to programs for NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing by enhancing customer satisfaction and project outcomes through proactive strategies and improved communication. Prior to this position, Jason held various engineering and management roles at Rockwell Collins from January 2005 to October 2020, including Engineering Manager and Principal Systems Engineer. Jason holds an M.B.A. from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, a Master’s Certificate in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and is pursuing a Certificate in New Space Economy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
