Jean-Francois Chanut

Jean-Francois Chanut is a seasoned aerospace executive with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently, Jean-Francois serves as VP/GM of Propeller Systems and President of Ratier Figeac at Collins Aerospace since February 2015. Prior to this role, Jean-Francois was the President of Mecanic Vallée, an association representing mechanical industrial companies, from June 2017 to June 2022. Notably, from 2008 to 2013, Jean-Francois held the position of VP of Airbus Programs at ATK, where significant achievements included securing a major contract with Airbus for the A350XWB fuselage. Previous experience at Honeywell Aerospace included various executive roles responsible for strategic direction, business development, and customer relations across multiple aerospace segments. Jean-Francois began a professional career at Aerospatiale Inc and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from CentraleSupélec.
