Ellen Johnson

Ellen Johnson is a Sustainability and Innovation Manager at Columbia Sportswear Company since April 2023, focusing on product sustainability and traceability across Columbia, Sorel, prAna, and Mountain Hardwear brands. Prior experience includes various roles at prAna from 2015 to 2023, including Sustainability and Social Impact Manager, Senior Social Responsibility and Sustainability Specialist, and Product Developer for Sustainable Products. Additional positions include Contract Technical Designer at RVCA, Outerwear and Apparel Designer & Developer at Westlife Distribution, and Assistant Technical Designer at Quiksilver. Ellen also served as a Lead Functional Clothing Design Research Assistant and Teacher's Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Stout while completing a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design and Development, supplemented by a study abroad program at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
