Zach Altshuler is currently a Graduate Student Researcher in the Laboratory of Kristin Baldwin at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where work is focused in the Department of Genetics and Development. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate in the Laboratory of Vishva Dixit at Genentech and as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Laboratory of Ben Ebert at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Additionally, time at Harvard University was spent as a Peer Advising Fellow and a First-Year Outdoor Program Leader. Zach's early experience as a Counselor at Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA involved managing groups of youth in a camping environment. Zach holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University.
