Jim Samaha

Jim Samaha is Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Freedom Region, one of Comcast’s largest operating systems, serving more than 2 million customers in areas including Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, New Jersey and northern Delaware. In addition to overseeing 6,000 employees, Jim is responsible for his Region’s marketing of products and services, customer care, engineering, technical operations, business services and overall financial status.

Previously, Jim served as Senior Vice President for Comcast’s Keystone Region, which serves approximately 1.5 million customers in areas including Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, Reading, Scranton, State College, Williamsport, York, southwestern Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and parts of West Virginia and Maryland.

Prior to joining Comcast, Jim was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises. With more than 20 years of experience in all facets of the telecommunications industry, he also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the company’s Internet and data services group, and as Vice President of Finance. He has also held numerous senior positions at Teleport Communications Group.

Jim holds a MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Cornell University. He resides in Media, PA, with his wife, Leslie, and their three children.
