Commerce Mentorship Program Director at Commerce Undergraduate Society

Adelia Vu is currently the Commerce Mentorship Program Director at Commerce Undergraduate Society of UBC Vancouver. Prior to this, they worked as an Analytics Consultant with 180 Degrees Consulting at the University of British Columbia, where they were responsible for identifying key statistical indicators and conducting research on data collection utilization and developing impact measurement methods for a client’s membership program.

Before that, Adelia worked as a Social Media Business Strategist with Wifa Global, an early-stage startup advancing women leaders in career, business & investment with financial growth & social impact. As an apprentice and ambassador for WIFA Global, they worked closely with WIFA founders Mina Fung and Kristen Klassen to create consistent brand language and social media presence as well as heightening their presence on university campuses through Financial Literacy virtual events.

Adelia has also worked as a Digital Analyst with Foodie Digital.

Adelia Vu completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the UBC Sauder School of Business. Adelia then completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, with a focus in Higher Level Biology, English Language and Literature, and Psychology, at the European International School Ho Chi Minh City. Finally, they completed the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, with a focus in Biology, Chemistry, Additional Math, English Literature and Design Technology, at the Australian International School in Vietnam.

They are on a team with Minnie Tanglertsampan - Creative Marketing Director, Simon Roberts - Fourth Year Representative, and Kiran Dhatt - Campus Ambassador Program Co-Director. Adelia Vu reports to Kristian Oppenheim, President.
