Tim Wan

Tim Wan is a software engineer who is currently employed at Commit. Tim has previously worked as a full stack engineer at CTO.ai from July 2019 to March 2020 and as a retail sales representative at Lacoste from December 2014 to March 2020.

At CTO.ai, Tim created Ops/Workflow automatons and helped build custom solutions for clients. Tim also worked on creating API endpoints on a Golang back-end and did unit testing with Mocha and E2E testing with Jest.

At Lacoste, Tim was responsible for developing a rapport with clients through quality customer service, supervision of other sales associates, and daily operations of the store. Tim was also responsible for communicating product features and giving suggestions with selections to clients who required assistance, as well as for merchandise and restocking inventory as needed.

Tim Wan has a diploma in web development from Lighthouse Labs and a certification from LinkedIn in Go Essential Training. Tim also has an undergraduate degree in interactive arts and technology from Simon Fraser University.

Tim Wan works with David Cheung - Software Engineer, Elina Goldin - Software Engineer, and Phong Thieu - Director of Engineering. Tim Wan reports to Beier Cai, Co-Founder, CTO.
