Cathan Riding

Cathan Riding serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Mercy Medical Center, part of CommonSpirit Health, since April 2024. Previously, Cathan held the same title at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER with HCA Healthcare from July 2017 to April 2024, and gained experience as Associate Administrator and Administrative Fellow at Wesley Healthcare. Additionally, Cathan completed an Administrative Resident and an Administrative Internship at Teton Valley Health Care. Early professional experience includes a Student Associate position at VIVA Health and a Patient Flow Coordinator Lead role at BYU-Idaho Student Health Center. Cathan Riding holds a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
