Scott Young

Scott Young is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in design and technical roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Design Technician at ComEd since February 2015, Scott develops designs and construction drawings for complex utility infrastructure projects. Previous positions include Motor Control Center Order Engineer at Siemens Industry, where responsibilities involved interpreting specifications to create electrical and mechanical drawings, and Application Engineer at Philips Lighting Systems & Controls, focusing on application testing and development guidance. Scott has also held sales and technical support roles at Littelfuse, Invensys Controls, Siemens E&A, System Sensor, and BRK Brands, accumulating a diverse skill set in engineering support, product management, and customer relations. A veteran of the US Army, Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Technical Studies from Southern Illinois University.
