Michael Posocco

Mike was Director of Facilities for Lawrence & Memorial Hospital and Westerly Hospital within the Yale-New Haven Health system. There he managed a staff of 48 and directed all aspects of facilities planning, operations and compliance and provided oversight of utilities, engineering and safety services. His YNHH colleagues noted that he is a goal-oriented team builder.

Mike has also worked as Director of Facilities and Engineering at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury and held the same position at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford Springs. At Johnson Memorial he was promoted to director based on his leadership responding to a generator failure and patient evacuation during Hurricane Irene in 2011.
