Chief Development Officer at COMPASS Pathways

Trevor is responsible for the management of Research and Development activities at COMPASS, from generation, selection and development of candidate medicines through to marketing authorisation.

Trevor is a Global R&D leader with extensive experience in regulatory, drug development (US, EU, Japan, China, Independent Markets) and business development in a biopharma career spanning 27 plus years. He has a proven track record of numerous product filings and approvals, in depth regulatory strategy knowledge, innovation and application, clinical/preclinical safety and pharmacovigilance experience across many therapeutic areas and a wide spectrum of different drug modalities.

Prior to joining COMPASS Pathways, Trevor was most recently Senior Vice President for Global Safety and Regulatory Sciences at Biogen. In addition to being responsible for Japan R&D, Trevor was also a core member of the Biogen Global Research and Development Leadership team. Trevor was a key member of Biogen’s early and late stage governance committees which had a focus and remit to reshape the pipeline and expedite the advancement of key assets through development to product approval. Trevor also held prior leadership positions within Biogen which have included interim co-leadership of Global Development (Biometrics, Global Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Safety and Compliance) and also being Site Lead for Biogen Maidenhead. Trevor has also held numerous key regulatory leadership positions and roles within Pfizer, J&J and Lederle Pharmaceuticals.
