Palamanga Ouali

VP, Africa Region at Compassion International

Palamanga Ouali is the VP of the Africa Region at Compassion International. Palamanga has dedicated their career to helping those in need and has worked extensively with various organizations in many different capacities.

Palamanga started their career as an economist statistician with INSD/MEF in 1993 and quickly rose through the ranks to become a programme officer with UNDP in 2002. After four years with UNDP, they took on the role of Interin Country Representative with USADF from 2007-2008 before becoming the Country Program Coordinator for USADF- United States African Development Foundation in 2008-2009.

In their current role as VP of the Africa Region at Compassion International, they are responsible for overseeing all of the organization's operations in Africa and ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently. Palamanga is passionate about their work and is constantly striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those they come into contact with.

Palamanga Ouali has a Master's in Development Economics from CERDI, an M.A. in Economics and Development Planning from the University of Ouagadougou, an Ing. Travaux Statistiques in Statistics and Applied Economics from IAMSEA, and a DEUG1 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Ouagadougou.

They work with Edouard Lassegue - VP, Latin America & Caribbean Regions, Tom Beck - SVP, HR, and Mark Hanlon - SVP, Global Philanthropic Engagement. Their manager is Santiago Mellado, President & Chief Executive Officer.
