Marko Penttinen

Marko Penttinen is the current President & CEO at Componenta. Marko has held this position since September 2019. Prior to this, they were Senior Advisor at Componenta from July 2020 to August 2019.

Marko Penttinen has over 20 years of experience in the sales and marketing industry. Marko started their career as Sales and Marketing Director at Komas Oy from November 2006 to January 2012. In January 2012, they joined Aidon as Director of Business Development where they were responsible for driving business development and market growth. Marko oversaw bidding, new solutions development, and product lifecycle management. Marko also coordinated marketing and communications activities, including leading a 2.5-year branding and marketing initiative in Norway. In December 2016, they became the CEO of Komas Oy and held this position until August 2019 when they joined Componenta as President & CEO.

Marko Penttinen has a Masters in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Marko also has an MBA from the same school, specializing in Business Development. Their undergraduate degree is in Computer Science from the Institute of Technology in Jyväskylä.
