Calvin Liu is currently the Strategy Lead at Compound. Prior to this, they were with Divergence Ventures. Calvin has also worked with Compound Labs, Gusto, Outpour, and Promontory Financial Group, an IBM Company.

Liu's experience includes managing data infrastructure, reporting, and analysis. Calvin also has experience in creating algorithmic money markets for Ethereum crypto assets. In addition, they co-founded an iOS app enabling users to anonymously write appreciative messages about their friends. The app was launched with WIRED coverage in Dec ’14 and won the Grand Prize out of 196 entries in The Art of Living’s Happiness Apps Challenge in Feb ‘15.

Calvin Liu's educational career includes a BA in Philosophy & Economics from Cornell University, as well as Seth Godin's Agenda Session and the Hive Global Leaders Program.

Calvin Liu reports to Robert Leshner, CEO. Calvin Liu works with Jayson Hobby - Head of Design, Jake Chervinsky - General Counsel, and Adam Bavosa - Developer Relations Lead.
