Blake Puryear is a seasoned technology and product leader with extensive experience in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) sector. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Compound Foundry, Blake leads the Shopify strategy across a range of brands and spearheads product and technology initiatives to optimize operational efficiency. Previous roles include Director of Product Management at Recharge, where collaboration between product and engineering teams was enhanced, and Director of Product Strategy at Drip, focusing on outcome-oriented product development. Blake co-founded and led the product organization at Engine eCommerce, and has contributed to several startups as a Product Lead and Venture Partner at Hayseed Ventures. With a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas, Blake has also held various positions in project management and consulting roles in the tech and energy sectors.
