Christine Smith-Thorpe

Christine Smith-Thorpe, MPH, is a seasoned professional in public health and client engagement, currently serving as a Referral Specialist at ComPsych since 2021. In this role, Christine implements strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention through proactive problem resolution. Previously, Christine held the position of Intake Service Coordinator, focusing on health service utilization and client satisfaction. With extensive experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor at both the Counseling Service of the Eastern District of New York and Harlem East Life Plan-Help, Christine advocated for mental health and drove product adoption through innovative, culturally inclusive strategies. Earlier career experience includes instructing health and safety courses with the American Red Cross Greater New York. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morris Brown College, and a Doctor of Public Health from Morgan State University.
