Gregorio Roper Yearwood

Gregorio Roper Yearwood is an experienced professional in solution architecture and enterprise architecture, currently serving as a Senior Solution Architect at Configit since October 2025. Prior to this role, Yearwood worked as the Lead Enterprise Architect at RheinEnergie AG from July 2021 to October 2025 and held various positions at Configit between February 2016 and July 2021, including Consulting Solution Architect and Consulting Team Lead. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Software Architect at Next Level Integration GmbH and a Project Manager at EUtech Scientific Engineering GmbH, where contributions focused on developing intelligent control algorithms and consulting on new development processes. Yearwood began his career as a Research Scientist at RWTH Aachen, managing balloon-borne experiments and designing tracking detectors, and has also worked as a Software Developer at Wevo and as a tutor during academic studies. Yearwood holds a PhD in Experimental Astroparticle Physics and a Diplom in Physics with Nuclear Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
