John Boneparth

John Boneparth is a financial consultant to investment management organizations. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Boneparth Consulting, LLC. Most recently, he served as President of Hall Capital Partners in San Francisco, a global investment management firm managing more than $25 billion for large family pools of capital. Previously, he was Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Institutional Management for Putnam Investments, Boston, where he presided over $160 billion in sales over a fourteen-year period. He also served as chairman of the board of PanAgora Asset Management and was a board member of Nissay Asset Management in Japan, Ampega Investment in Germany, and Sceptre Investment Counsel in Canada. Prior to joining Putnam, John was Senior Managing Director of Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. in New York City and senior consultant for AG Becker’s Funds Evaluation Division. He has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Education. John lives in LaQuinta, California and Scarborough, Maine and serves as a Director of Conning Holdings Limited.
