ConsumerMedical Welcomes Former Business Group on Health CEO Brian Marcotte to Board, ConsumerMedical

ConsumerMedical, a clinical advocacy company that helps employees and plan members navigate the nation’s complex healthcare system, announced today that Brian Marcotte has joined the company’s board of directors. Marcotte is the former CEO and President of Business Group on Health, an organization consisting of the largest and most progressive employers in the U.S., focused on healthcare benefits best practice, thought leadership, and health policy.

At the Business Group, Marcotte established the Health Innovations Forum, which helped accelerate market traction for promising digital health startups, and the Executive Committee on Value Purchasing, a cross-industry council focused on shifting the market toward value-based pricing and provider accountability.

Prior to Business Group on Health, Marcotte was the Vice President of Compensation and Benefits for Honeywell International, where he developed and implemented a number of leading-edge solutions to help employees maximize their experience with the healthcare delivery system to optimize quality, satisfaction, and cost.
