Stephanie Black

Stephanie Black is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Gas System Planning Engineer at Consumers Energy since March 2021. In this role, Stephanie oversees the planning for the natural gas transmission system, ensuring year-round delivery for customers. Prior to this, Stephanie held various engineering positions at Consumers Energy, including Senior Engineer I for gas transmission pipeline projects and Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed project management, performance monitoring, and engineering support. Additionally, experience as a Product Development Engineer at Flexco involved creating mechanical products for conveyor belt systems. A graduate of Michigan State University, Stephanie holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a BFA in Graphic Design.
