Laura Behrer

Laura Behrer is an accomplished corporate leader in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of EH&S at Convergent Energy and Power, Laura is responsible for safety strategy across various energy projects. Previously, as the National HSSE Manager at X-ELIO, Laura led health, safety, security, and environmental initiatives for large-scale solar projects in the U.S. As Director of EH&S at Eagle Creek Renewable Energy LLC, Laura oversaw operations for numerous hydroelectric facilities, spearheading sustainability and diversity initiatives. Laura's earlier roles include management positions at Cube Hydro and Turner Construction Company, where regulatory compliance and risk management were key responsibilities. With a strong academic background, Laura holds multiple degrees from the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
