Rikard Wærø

Rikard Wærø has extensive experience in strategy and business development, currently serving as Head of Strategy and Business Development for Coop Norge's DIY chain since January 2012. Prior roles include Head of Strategic Analysis and Group Controller at Coop Norge, where leadership involved overseeing analysis teams for financial and strategic processes. Prior to Coop Norge, Rikard was the Founder of Create Innovation, focusing on innovation management and developing an idea management tool. Experience also includes serving as a Special Adviser for the Research Council of Norway and as a Consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
