Ramsey Changoo

VP & Managing Director, ISG at Cooper Standard

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Ramsey Changoo serves as vice president and managing director for the Industrial and Specialty Group (ISG), a position he has held since January 2022. In this position, Changoo works to progress the Company’s diversification strategy to accelerate growth and maximize the value of the Company's products and technologies in industrial and specialty markets.

Based in Northville, Mich., he reports to Chris Couch, the senior vice president, chief technology and procurement officer.

From April 2020 to December 2021, he served as vice president of global operations, finance, where he led the Company’s global operations finance function to streamline and transform from data reporting to enhance performance. In addition, he led the Company’s driving value initiative in manufacturing and program management to ensure a sustainable competitive advantage.

From January 2017 to April 2020, he served as vice president of operations, Asia Pacific, where he built collaborative relations and focused on profitable growth in China, South Korea, India, Thailand and Japan. Prior, he held various leadership position in the Asia Pacific region, including vice president and managing director, China (from September 2009 to December 2013) and director of finance, Asia Pacific (from January 2005 to September 2009), after joining Cooper Standard as finance director in January 2005.

During his time at Cooper Standard, Changoo has held leadership positions in finance, operations and strategy. He has led and supported restructuring, divestiture and acquisition targets, as well as led global initiatives around growth, standardization and integration into actionable execution plans to improve and sustain the performance of the business.

Before joining Cooper Standard, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Tower International in Novi, Mich. and ZF (Formally TRW Automotive) Group in Livonia, Mich..

Changoo earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration, finance and accounting from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program. He is certified in decision science for business results from DBP (Data for Business Performance) Institute.
