Brian Astrup

Brian Astrup is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SCADA and operational technology security, currently serving as the Director of SCADA & OT Security at Copenhagen Offshore Partners since May 2024. Prior to this role, Brian held various positions at Vattenfall from April 2012 to April 2024, including Head of SCADA Engineering, where leadership was provided for multiple departments overseeing a workforce of over 55 employees and 20 consultants across Northern Europe. Brian's expertise encompasses the entire lifecycle of SCADA and OT infrastructure for wind farms, with previous roles at DONG Energy, ÅF A/S, Benima, NEG Micon, and Kjærgaard, demonstrating a strong foundation in project engineering, implementation, and testing of SCADA systems across various industries. Brian holds a Master's degree in Automation from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and a Bachelor's degree in Electro Engineering from the Engineering College of Aarhus.
