Kelly Mires

About

Kelly Mires is the current Executive Director of Human Resources at Coppell ISD. Kelly has previously worked as the Coordinator of Human Resources and Staff Development at Canyon Independent School District, and the Director of Human Resources at Allen Independent School District. Prior to working in school administration, Kelly was a 1st grade teacher at Garland Independent School District.

Kelly has been responsible for creating the online hiring and paperless onboarding process, and they have conducted screening interviews for all teacher applicants. Kelly has also been responsible for planning AISD teacher job fairs, revising district professional and administrative job applications, and implementing district online applications. In addition, Kelly has presented a training session at the Texas Association for School Personnel Administrators regarding Ventures for Excellence.

Kelly Mires has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University. Kelly also has a Superintendent's Certification from The University of Texas at Arlington. Lastly, they have a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Kelly Mires reports to Brad Hunt, Superintendent. Some of their coworkers include Kristen Eichel - Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services, Carol Snowden - Administrative Assistant to Superintendent, and Mary Kemper - Executive Director of Instructional Leadership.
