Rich Schaefer

Rich Schaefer is the Regional Vice President for Core & Main's Central Region. Rich has over 15 years of experience in leadership positions, driving top tier financial performance and strategy execution. Prior to joining Core & Main, Schaefer was the Regional Director of Operations for HD Supply, responsible for an annual revenue of over $300 million. Rich has also worked as an auditor for RubinBrown LLP, developing expertise in Manufacturing, Distribution, and Financial Services industry groups. Schaefer is a proven leader with a track record of success in driving growth and profitability.

Rich Schaefer has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Missouri State University in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Rich is certified by the AICPA in CPA.

Rich Schaefer reports to Steve LeClair, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Don Teter - Regional Vice President, Mid-South Region, Yvonne Bland - Vice President, sales & business development, and Bill Driskill - Vice President, Vendor Relations, Souring and Operations.
