Armin McCrea-Dastur

VP, Talent, Organizational Development, & Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at CoreCivic

Armin McCrea-Dastur was named vice president of Talent, Organizational Development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in February 2021. Previously, she served as CoreCivic's vice president of Talent and Organizational Development. McCrea-Dastur started her professional career in corrections as an addiction services counselor in 1993, before transitioning to the sports management and -psychology field for 11 years. By 2007, she began working with Kraft foods and Mondelèz International as the Global Head of Talent Management. In 2016, she was named senior director of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Performance Management at Danone. Prior to joining CoreCivic, McCrea-Dastur served as Vice President of Talent Management at Essilor of America. Today, she has over 20 years of experience in the leadership development, talent management, and acquisition industry. McCrea-Dastur holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut, a master's degree in sports psychology from the University of North Carolina, and a master's degree in industrial organizational psychology, and a doctorate in organizational leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
