Brendan Gilmartin

Brendan Gilmartin is the Managing Director at CFGI. Brendan has over twenty-five years of experience providing transaction advisory services to private equity and corporate clients.

Brendan started their career at KPMG US as an Audit Manager. Brendan then spent twelve years at EY, where they led financial and accounting due diligence projects in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America for private equity and Fortune 500 corporate clients. Brendan served as EY’s National subject matter expert in the areas of Technology, Software, Internet, and eCommerce.

In 2011, Brendan joined RSM US LLP as Director of Transaction Advisory Services. Brendan was the National leader of the International Transactions team and the Software and Technology industry leader within the Transaction Advisory Services Practice for the North East region.

In 2016, Brendan left RSM to join BDO USA, LLP as Managing Director – Transaction Advisory Services. Brendan provided M&A Advisory services to private equity and corporate clients before joining CFGI in 2021.

Brendan Gilmartin has a Wharton Executive Education in Distressed Asset Investing and Corporate Restructuring from The Wharton School, a FCA - Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants from Chartered Accountants Ireland, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Law from the University of Galway, and a Bachelor of Business Studies (B.B.S.) in Accounting, Finance and Law from the University of Limerick. Brendan is also certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as a CPA - Certified Public Accountant and by Chartered Accountants Ireland as an FCA - Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

They are on a team with Pajmon Bigdeliazari - Managing Director, Alexandra Belova - Managing Director, and Ninad Purohit - Partner. Brendan Gilmartin reports to Nick Nardone, Co-CEO & Founder.
