Brian Smith

Brian Smith is the Managing Director at CFGI. Brian has over 25 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to joining CFGI, Brian was the Corporate Controller at Traditions of America from August 2015 to June 2017. Brian was responsible for the treasury management of the partnership and all construction-related activities, as well as preparing the financial statements for all corporate and homebuilding entities.

From October 2009 to August 2015, Brian was the Managing Director of Accounting at RAIT Financial Trust. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of RAIT's accounting and financial reporting, including SEC filings and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Brian also led RAIT's finance transformation initiative, which streamline RAIT's accounting and finance functions and improved efficiency and accuracy.

Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Villanova University.

Brian Smith has a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University.
