Mrs. Choudri is a Managing Director with CFGI’s New York office providing accounting, consulting, and interim management services to clients in a variety of industries. Mrs. Choudri provides technical and operational accounting assistance in areas that include revenue recognition, share-based compensation, business combinations, debt modifications, and complex equity and financing arrangements. Prior to CFGI, Mrs. Choudri was the Chief Financial Officer of DuJour Media Group, a leading luxury and lifestyle publication.

Mrs. Choudri assists public and private CFGI clients, with services that include preparing technical accounting white papers, long-term process analysis, and improvement projects. Mrs. Choudri has assisted several clients with business combinations, leading the purchase accounting and post-close consolidation. Her technical accounting experience includes writing technical accounting white papers on business combinations, debt and equity instruments, and share-based compensation. Mrs. Choudri also has experience assisting clients with interim CFO roles, overseeing CFGI staff as well as client staff, responsible for the month-end close process, preparation of all internal and external financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, researching accounting issues as necessary, and consulting on software/system solutions for clients in the technology and pharmaceutical industries. Throughout her career, Mrs. Choudri has had exposure to a variety of administrative systems and general ledger packages including MS Dynamics, SAP, and NetSuite.

While at DuJour Media Group, Mrs. Choudri led and coordinated the business and financial operations of the company through monitoring financial performance, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances. Mrs. Choudri oversaw all financial reporting, planning/budgeting and analysis, general accounting, credit procurement, and treasury matters.

Prior to her role at DuJour Media, Mrs. Choudri worked as the Financial Controller at Sterling Talent Solutions, a pre-employment background screening company where she was responsible for managing internal and external financial reporting, supervising a team of 10 domestically as well as several domestic and international subsidiaries. In this role, Mrs. Choudri was responsible for purchase accounting, systems implementation, consolidation reporting, budget analysis, and internal controls process implementation. Mrs. Choudri also oversaw all aspects of the general ledger month-end close including: AP and cash disbursements, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, cash management and bank reconciliations, payroll processing, sales commissions, and equity. She also oversaw global accounting activities, multi-currency accounting and intercompany transactions.

Mrs. Choudri also worked at AIG in the Asset Management division as a financial analyst reporting directly to the Deputy Controller. In that role, she worked on multiple stock compensation projects, quarterly and annual filings, oversaw international subsidiaries and reported on budget to actual variance analysis for multiple subsidiaries directly to Senior Management.

Mrs. Choudri was previously an audit senior at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where she gained exposure to various industries including private companies, retail, real estate, manufacturers, law firms and industrial products. She was responsible for the planning, execution, and economics of engagements including annual audits, quarterly reviews, pension plan audits and other agreed-upon procedures for both public and private clients. As a lead senior on the engagements, Mrs. Choudri acted as the primary contact for the client and presented all audit findings and recommendations. Her critical thinking and analytical skills enabled her to efficiently understand business issues relevant to each client and the engagement.

Mrs. Choudri graduated from CUNY Queens College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
