Brandon Olson

Brandon Olson is a software engineer at Cortex. Brandon has also worked as a general manager and senior project manager at Clary Fabrication and Sales, and as a technical support specialist at Nu Skin Enterprises.

Brandon Olson began their career in 2011 as a technical support specialist for Nu Skin Enterprises, a global company specializing in health and beauty products. In this role, they provided support to customers using the company's website.

In 2012, Brandon transitioned to Clary Fabrication and Sales, where they served as both a general manager and senior project manager. As general manager, they were responsible for building a more team-oriented environment and introducing a more streamlined workflow within the office. Brandon also increased accuracy on bid takeoffs and reduced time spent on job takeoffs by half. In addition, Brandon successfully managed the design, production, and testing of a new product that was tested at the University of Utah. This new product allowed Clary to sell to three times the number of customers and tripled the company's bid volume.

As senior project manager at Clary, Brandon managed over 500 projects with profitable margins. Brandon led meetings and stayed in constant communication with all clients to ensure that projects stayed on schedule. Brandon also improved and redesigned the company's inventory, increasing production rates and efficiency while reducing timelines when working with customers.

In November 2016, Brandon left Clary to pursue a career in software engineering. Brandon joined Cortex in 2017, where they continue to build innovative software solutions for the company's clients.

Brandon Olson has a Bachelor's Degree in Korean from Brigham Young University. Brandon also has certification from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages in ACTFL- OPI Advanced Mid Korean.
