Thomas Eriksson

Thomas Eriksson has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several organizations. Thomas currently serves as the Director a.i. at the Council of Europe Development Bank since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank as the Manager, Policy and Operational Quality from July 2021 to September 2022. At the International Fund for Agricultural Development, they held the position of Director from April 2020 to July 2021. Before that, they served as the Deputy Director at EBRD from April 2016 to April 2020. Thomas has also worked at UNDP in various roles including Deputy Representative/Country Director Mongolia, Team Leader and Policy Advisor, Chief of the Directorate, Bureau of Management, Results Based Planning Adviser, and Programme Analyst from 2001 to 2016. Thomas Eriksson started their career as a Financial Analyst at United Nations Volunteers from March 1999 to May 2001. Prior to that, they were a Financial Analyst at The Coca-Cola Company from July 1997 to March 1999 and a Business Analyst at Stora Enso from June 1996 to July 1997.

Thomas Eriksson received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Örebro in 1994. Thomas then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Gothenburg from 1994 to 1996. In 1995, Thomas also attended Rijksuniversiteit Gent and École Supérieure de Commerce, Grenoble for studies in Business Administration and Management, General. Thomas also briefly studied at the University of Wales, Swansea in 1994-1995. Additionally, Thomas holds a certification in Prince 2 Project Management from APMG International.
