Nora began their career in magazine publishing, working at People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly. Nora then moved to Time Inc, where they held various marketing and executive positions over a six-year period. In 2010, Nora joined Barnes & Noble as the Director of Commerce & Subscription Management for the launch of their Nook Color device. After a successful launch, they consulted for Columbia University and Upside Business Travel before joining the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.
