Dan Thompson

Dan Thompson is the Group HR Director at Countrywide. Prior to this, they held the position of People Director B2B and Group Functions at Countrywide Plc from January 2016 to January 2018. From September 2014 to December 2015, Dan was the Deputy Director of Civil Service Employee Policy at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Dan has also worked as the Head of HR for IT and Property at Marks and Spencer from February 2013 to September 2014, and as the Head of Region HR Business Partner for Marks and Spencer’s South London Region from April 2011 to January 2013. Dan began their career at Marks and Spencer in January 2004 as a Stores HR Manager and has since held various positions within the company, including Recruitment Selection Process Specialist and Head of HR Outlets Division.

Dan Thompson has a MCIPD from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a BSc Hons in Psychology from Durham University.
