Marilyn Miller is an experienced planning and redevelopment professional, currently serving as the Planning & Redevelopment Director for the County of Ventura since July 2006. Previous roles include Finance Officer for the American Planning Association's Central Coast Section from 2008 to 2011, Deputy Community Development Director for the City of Thousand Oaks in 2004-2005, and Planning Manager for the City of Oxnard from 1998 to 2004. Marilyn also held the position of Planning Director for the City of Calabasas between 1997 and 1999 and started her career as an Associate Planner for the City of Ojai from 1985 to 1996. Marilyn's early work experience includes a role as a Technical Writer Support for Abex Corporation from 1978 to 1980. Marilyn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from UC Santa Barbara between 1987 and 1992.
