Ken Hahn

Ken Hahn is the current Chief Financial Officer at Coursera. Prior to their current role, Ken served as the Chief Financial Officer at Collective Health from January 2017 to December 2020 and at Icontrol Networks from January 2014 to December 2017.

At Collective Health, Ken was responsible for driving operational change to create viable unit economics, including ops center relocation and structuring, pricing and packaging upgrades that increased both revenue and margin, and the creation of a robust deal desk function to enhance revenue, align the operating teams and speed deal negotiation and decision making. These efforts led to the company's $205M Series E fundraise.

At Icontrol Networks, Ken managed and drove a successful, complex sale of the company to two public companies (Comcast and Alarm.com). Prior to the sale, Ken negotiated and secured a $33M debt facility with Ares Capital and SVB to bridge to cash-flow positive, avoiding dilution of likely 20%+ versus a later-stage equity round and directly increasing shareholder returns in the subsequent company sale.

Ken Hahn completed their MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business with an elective emphasis in finance, marketing, and statistics. Ken also holds a BA from Cal State Fullerton in business administration from the College of Business and Economics. Ken Hahn is a certified public accountant and has certification from Coursera in visualizing Citibike trips with Tableau.
