Helen Maddock

Helen Maddock is an accomplished professional in the fields of cardiovascular pharmacology and physiology, currently serving as the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of INOCARDIA LIMITED since December 2016. Concurrently, Helen holds several prominent positions at Coventry University, including Director for Research and Enterprise, Professor, Executive Director of the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Life Sciences, and has previously lectured as a Principal and Senior Lecturer. Helen's prior experience includes founding and leading INOCARDIA LIMITED as CEO from 2013 to 2015, as well as research fellowships at UCL and the University of Kent. Early in the career, Helen worked as a Research and Development Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca. Educational credentials include a PhD in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from Cardiff University and a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bradford.
