John Sung

John Sung is a skilled visual effects artist with extensive experience in compositing. Currently serving as Lead Compositor at Crafty Apes VFX since February 2022, John previously held key roles at The Molecule as Comp Supervisor and Lead Compositor from September 2018 to February 2022. Other notable positions include Compositor at Zoic Studios, and multiple roles at The Molecule and digital evolution nyc, where John demonstrated expertise in Nuke and Maya, leading teams and handling retouching and beauty work. Additionally, John contributed freelance work to various projects including episodes of "Royal Pains," "The Blacklist," and the film "A Walk Among the Tombstones." John holds a BFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts, completed in 2012.
