Head, Group Marketing at Credit Agricole Group

He joined Crédit Lyonnais in 1987 as Account Officer in the Retail branches, then as Relationship Manager for Corporate Clients. In 1992, he was appointed in London as Senior Risk analyst and then Head of the European Corporates Department. In 1998, he joined the Crédit Lyonnais Strategy unit. In 2001, Pierre Metge became Deputy of the Partnership Director at the General Management office and then joined in 2003 the LCL Wealth management unit. Member of a small working group that presided the creation of LCL Private Banking, he took the head of Marketing and Communication department in 2005. In October 2010, he is named Group Strategic Marketing Director at Crédit Agricole S.A. In 2011, his role is extended to the Group Marketing Research and to the Group DataLab in 2015.

The Group Marketing Department includes the Retail Market, the Affluent and Private banking markets, Savings, the Group Marketing Strategy, the Marketing insights, the Group DataLab and the Group E-Marketing.

Pierre Metge graduated from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris and holds an Asset Management diploma from Paris-Dauphine University.
