Jean-Francois Gagnon

Jean-Francois Gagnon is a highly experienced geologist with a career spanning over a decade in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Crescent Point Energy since April 2021, Jean-Francois previously held multiple roles at Shell from June 2010 to March 2021, including Senior Asset Geoscientist, Well Operations Geologist, Strategy and Exploration Portfolio Analyst, and Exploration Geoscientist. Jean-Francois began the career as a Field Geologist at the Geological Survey of Canada in June 2004. Academically, Jean-Francois earned a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Alberta between 2005 and 2010 and completed a BSc in Earth Sciences at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2002 to 2005.
