Daniel Terlep

Dan has served ultra-high net worth clients and their family offices for almost 20 years. He started his career at Deloitte where he worked on complex tax and estate planning for individuals, family offices and their private equity and investment partnerships. He then was hired to develop a single family office with a significant real estate development company and active private equity company. During his decade with the single family office, he worked with tax-efficient portfolio structuring, asset selection and divestiture, accounting and allocations, software selection and integration, performance and reporting in addition to significant tax and estate planning for all types of assets.

Most recently, Dan was hired to help RSM build its National Family Office Practice where he worked with the firm’s family office clients and prospects on a wide variety of family office matters.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. He holds an active CPA license and is a member of the AICPA.
