Kimberly DuBord is a Partner and Managing Director for Cresset. Kimberly brings to Cresset over 25 years of experience in the investment and the wealth management industries. As a Wealth Advisor, she works with a team of experts to provide advice and solutions for families to help grow and protect their wealth today and for generations to come.

Most recently, Kimberly was an Advisor in J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, responsible for over $2.0 billion in client assets. Since 2013, she served families, business owners, corporate executives, and private foundations providing customized advice on generational wealth transfer, financial planning, asset preservation and growth, specialized lending, and philanthropic giving.

Previously, Kimberly was the Director of Research for an independent investment research firm, Briefing Research, where she was responsible for setting the firms’ thematic and commodity strategy for family offices, money managers and private clients. Kimberly moved to Chicago in 1997 to join Driehaus Capital Management as an International Equity Analyst covering Asia and the Emerging Markets. There she provided investment idea generation for multiple, top-quartile regional and global funds.

Kimberly has a MBA in Finance from DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Kimberly earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification taught in conjunction with the Yale School of Management. She is also a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute and maintains a FINRA Series 65 license.

Kimberly is actively involved in her community. She currently serves on the Philanthropy Committee for The North Shore Exchange which supports organizations serving children and families at or below the poverty level. Kimberly and her husband, Paul, are proud parents of twins, Jack and Alexandra.
