Chinmay Kulkarni

Chinmay Kulkarni is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in platform development and machine learning. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Cribl since March 2022, Chinmay previously held the same title at Splunk, focusing on machine learning and applied research from August 2015 to March 2022. Prior to that, Chinmay was a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley, collaborating with the United States Geological Survey on landslide prediction in California. Chinmay's earlier roles included Senior Software Engineer at Persistent Systems, where contributions encompassed RESTful services, database design, and modular application development, along with mentoring undergraduate students. Chinmay holds a Master's degree in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
