Praveen Lakhera is currently a Doctoral Student at RMIT University while also serving as a Doctoral Researcher at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation since May 2018, focusing on advancements in biosensors within the Biomedical Applications Division. Praveen has previously worked as a Senior Research Fellow at CSIR, contributing to the development of a readout device for the cardiac biomarker Troponin I and creating a screen-printed carbon electrode-based sensing platform. As an ICMR Senior Research Fellow from July 2020 to July 2023, contributions included developing a colorimetric Point of Care device for hemoglobin and glycated hemoglobin detection, emphasizing microfluidics and UV-Vis spectroscopy methods. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Dolphin Institute of Biomedical and Natural Science, teaching postgraduate courses in biomedical engineering and electronics. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, a Master's in VLSI Design and System, and ongoing Doctoral studies in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
