Job description

Projectmanager Bugbounty

CSIRT.global is an international not-for-profit organisation, bringing CSIRT to those who don't have access to it. We are growing at an incredible pace and are now looking for a program manager to join the team, to run an important pilot project.

Why join

Every single volunteer at CSIRT.global believes the internet needs help, and we cannot think within constraints like borders. That's why we, next to our often demanding jobs, invest time and effort to the good cause. We believe in giving opportunities, friendship, learning and sharing, while being very much aware of the confidentiality of the data we process. We'll offer you an invaluable experience in cyber security, as well as our friendship, guidance, mentorship and network.

Description

CSIRT.global is running an independent Bugbounty program pilot. This needs to be managed carefully. It will require strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Your job will be to shape the function, as much as it is to perform the program management tasks.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Leading the internal and public bug bounty program, including strategic planning, managing the bounty platform, interfacing with researchers, and collaborating with the CSIRT department.
  • Ensure the bug bounty programs are executed at the highest possible quality while adhering to the agreed-upon agreements with third parties.
  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor planned activities in collaboration with project partners (CSIRT).
  • Meet internal and external reporting requirements, including milestones and deliverables, within agreed timelines
  • Act as the contact point for funding partners, partner organisations, and stakeholders in the bug bounty pilot implementation.
  • Coordinate project-related logistical arrangements and procurement
  • Plan meetings and ensure meeting reports (minutes) are available and distributed
  • Assist in preparing bug-bounty proposals for implementations and funding opportunities (acquisition).

What we're looking for

Note that these are guidelines rather than demands; attitude and ability to execute are at least as important to us.

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field. MSc is preferred.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in (data) science, and bug bounty project management.
  • At least one year of experience with RD and CVD, VDP, and Bugbounties.
  • Excellent planning skills, with experience in applying these in a complex and dynamic (international) context
  • Financial insight, knowledge of budget control and project administration
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, willing to acquire and share expertise.
  • A flexible attitude towards workload, both in high- and low-level tasks, with the ability to set priorities.

If you do not meet all these criteria (and you'll likely won't), we'd love to hear why you would still be our perfect candidate.
