Diego Briones has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Programador at Adexus for 8 months before moving on to Consorcio Naviero Peruano where they worked as an Analista Programador for a year. In 2013, they joined Belcorp as an Analista de Inteligencia de Negocios and stayed there for a year and a half before transitioning to Atento as an Analista de Inteligencia de Negocios. Diego then joined PANDERO S.A. EAFC as an Analista de Gestión de Información and worked there for two years. In 2017, Diego joined Scotiabank in a series of roles, starting as an Analista de Planeamiento & Analytics, then moving on to become an Analista Senior de Planeamiento & Analytics, Especialista Business Analytics, and finally Subgerente de Retención & Vinculación de Clientes. Diego worked at Scotiabank for over four years before transitioning to the Data Analytics Center as a Docente in November 2022. Finally, in March 2023, Diego joined Culqi as a Customer Experience Lead.

Diego obtained their Engineer's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos from the years 2008 to 2012. Following this, in 2015, they pursued a Diploma of Education in Business Intelligence and Information Governance from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. In the same year, they also completed a Diplomatura in Organization and Administration from the same university.
In 2016 to 2017, Diego further enhanced their knowledge in business intelligence by completing an Alta Especialización in Business Intelligence from Universidad ESAN. In 2018 to 2019, they pursued a Specialization in Customer Analytics from The Wharton School.
Diego's commitment to continuous learning is evident as they acquired additional certifications throughout their career. Currently, Diego is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Pacífico Business School, which they started in 2022 and is expected to complete in 2024.
