Wayne Bowden

Wayne Bowden is the Vice President of Business Development at Curebase. Prior to joining Curebase, Wayne served as the Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy at Biorasi from January 2012 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for assisting sponsors with their cell-based therapies and biologics clinical development programs, including protocol review, revision, and consulting; pre-IND and IND consulting; program management; development of project-specific trainings for clinical sites and project teams; and oversight of regulatory submissions, manuals, logs and forms review, project planning, clinical materials supplies management and site selection. Wayne was also responsible for overseeing the successful submission and granting of multiple NDAs/BLAs for novel therapies and biotherapeutics.

Prior to joining Biorasi, Wayne served as the Wayne'stological Core Manager and Founder at Florida International University from October 2009 to January 2012. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operations of the histology core laboratory, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and microscopy. Wayne also oversaw quality control procedures and trained new employees on histological techniques.

Wayne began their career as a Research Technician II / Laboratory Manager at Baylor College of Medicine from June 2008 to October 2009. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining cell cultures, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and writing research reports. Wayne also managed the laboratory inventory and budget.

Wayne Bowden has a Professional MBA in Healthcare Management from Florida International University - College of Business, and a B.S. in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from The University of Texas at Austin.
