Rachael Singh is a legal professional with extensive experience in multiple capacities, currently serving as a Lawyer linguist at the Court of Justice of the European Union since January 2018. Prior to this role, Rachael held the position of Associate Lecturer at the Ecole nationale de la Magistrature from September 2016 to January 2018, focusing on legal English and common-law legal systems. Rachael also worked as a Lawyer-linguist and editor-in-chief at Université de Bordeaux from September 2013 to December 2017, where responsibilities included translating and publishing the Montesquieu Law Review, as well as translating academic works. Additionally, Rachael operated as a freelance translator, proofreader, and editor from January 2001 to December 2017. Rachael Singh holds a Master of Arts in Bilingualism from Birkbeck, University of London, an LLB (Hons) in Law with French Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Diploma in Translation, among other qualifications in law and translation studies.
