With 30 years of experience founding and building medical technology companies, Steve Dimmer has brought numerous medical device innovations from concept to commercialization. He recently served as an entrepreneur-in-residence for Ethicon, Inc. a Johnson & Johnson Company. He co-founded and served as CEO of Nuvaira, a catheter-based therapy for COPD and asthma currently being evaluated in a sham-controlled pivotal trial. Earlier, Steve was a founder and vice president of research and development at Calypso Medical (acquired by Varian). Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Washington, Foster School of Business, and has 125+ U.S. patents granted or pending.
